How to Get Rid of Cheto Hackers in 8 Ball Pool

If you’ve been playing 8 Ball Pool for some time, you may have noticed players who seem almost impossible to beat. These are commonly referred to as cheto hackers individuals using unfair tools or modifications that undermine fair gameplay. Unfortunately, the presence of these hackers remains an issue, and Miniclip has not yet provided a long-term solution to fully eliminate them.

Before becoming too discouraged, it’s important to understand how the system works, why certain accounts are more exposed to hackers, and what steps you can take to reduce the chances of encountering them.

Are hackers really that common?

For healthy or new accounts, hackers are extremely rare. You may encounter one occasionally, but the percentage is so low that it won’t affect your overall gameplay.

However, some accounts do experience a high percentage of hackers. These can generally be divided into two categories:

Permanent hacker-matched accounts – constantly paired with cheto hackers.
Temporary hacker-matched accounts – only encounter hackers for a limited time.

How to get rid of cheto hackers

Permanent hacker-matched accounts
Unfortunately, if your account has been permanently categorized into hacker lobbies, the only real solution is for Miniclip (the game developers) to release an update that resets and restores your account’s matchmaking system. Players cannot fix this issue themselves.
Temporary hacker-matched accounts
If your account is only temporarily facing hackers, there are a couple of tricks you can try:
- Stay inactive for 48 hours: Don’t log into the game at all. When you return, the hacker percentage will likely have dropped.
- Leave the account unused for 7 days: Wait until the start of the next league (usually on Monday). Check again—if you’re still matched with many hackers, your account may unfortunately be classified as permanent.

Why does an account get categorized as a hacker?

There are a few main reasons:

Using cheat tools or hacks: The moment you use a hacking tool, the system marks your account and pairs you with other hackers.
Changing your country suddenly: For example, playing in your country’s league and then switching to another country increases the chance of being flagged. This is often temporary, and most accounts recover within two days of inactivity.
Third-party apps: Using apps that extend aim lines or overlay tools can also get your account flagged.
Modifying game files: Editing or tampering with the game files and then logging back in will almost always categorize your account. Again, leaving the account unused for 48 hours to 7 days may help reset it.

Final Thoughts

Cheto hackers are one of the biggest frustrations in 8 Ball Pool, and sadly, Miniclip doesn’t seem too interested in fixing the problem from the roots. Instead of removing hackers completely, the system just throws certain accounts into “hacker lobbies,” which makes the game less fun for honest players.

It shouldn’t be on players to leave their accounts inactive for days just to escape hackers. That’s a temporary fix at best. What the game really needs is a proper update from Miniclip to clean things up.

Until then, the best we can do is avoid risky third-party apps, protect our accounts, and hope Miniclip finally takes action to bring back a fair experience for everyone.
